Air Display!
Three world-class display teams are set to take to the skies over Falmouth Bay as Cornwall experiences its most significant solar eclipse since 1999!
The Royal Navy Parachute Display Team, The Flying Comrades and the AeroSuperBatics Wingwalkers will each perform as part of a high-energy evening of breathtaking aerial entertainment from 6.15pm, with a 95% partial solar eclipse unfolding simultaneously overhead.
The Royal Navy Raiders
One of Britain’s most celebrated military display acts, the Raiders are experienced parachutists drawn from across the Surface Fleet, Submarine Service, Royal Marines and Fleet Air Arm. Trailing coloured smoke and flags as they free-fall towards the bay, they deliver a display of precision and courage that never fails to inspire.
The AeroSuperBatics Wingwalkers
The world’s only formation wingwalking team, the AeroSuperBatics Wingwalkers perform atop iconic Boeing Stearman biplanes, executing loops, rolls and turns while their wingwalkers perform handstands against 150mph wind pressure.
The Flying Comrades
Flying a duo of iconic Yakovlev Yak-52 aircraft, the Flying Comrades bring tight formation aerobatics, exhilarating passes and visually distinctive sequences to the skies above Falmouth Bay.
The air display is subject to weather conditions and CAA approval. Travel, parking and eclipse-safe viewing guidance will be released closer to the date.
The Wurzels!
The Wurzels, the West Country’s finest, are a legendary British band who have been entertaining audiences with their unique blend of rural folk, rock, and comedy for over five decades. After a four-year holiday, they’re returning to Falmouth for a night of foot-stomping West Country fun on Wednesday 12th August.
Best known for their 1976 number one hit Combine Harvester and their number three hit I Am A Cider Drinker, The Wurzels have been packing out venues across the south west for decades and and we can’t wait for their return to Falmouth Week!
Open to all ages, this is a night the whole family can enjoy together. Under 16s are half price and under 5s go free.

RNLI Water Polo
The RNLI Water Polo Challenge returns to Custom House Quay this Falmouth Week!
From 7.30pm – 8.30pm, watch teams from the RNLI and local Surf Life Saving Clubs battle it out in the water. Grab a spot on the quay, cheer on your favourite team, then settle in with a cold drink as the Bryher’s Boys shanty group take over for the evening. Free to attend, though donations to the RNLI are always welcome.

Armed Forces
The Army brings an exciting, hands-on experience to the Moor once again throughout Falmouth Week. Challenge your nerves with their impressive mobile climbing wall, offering the perfect opportunity to scale new heights and test your strength, speed and skill under pressure.
Alongside the climbing challenge, visitors can explore the Army’s interactive display area, where you’ll discover more about life in the forces through engaging activities and demonstrations. Friendly personnel will be on hand to answer questions, share their experiences, and give a unique insight into the wide range of roles and opportunities available.
Music on the Moor
Music on the Moor returns for Falmouth Week 2026 with an exciting new line-up of musicians and artists. Enjoy live music as you browse the market, or relax with a coffee in the seating area while the melodic sounds fill the Moor.
Blending lively entertainment with a laid-back outdoor shopping experience, it’s the perfect place to unwind and soak up the atmosphere. Keep an eye out for the daily line-up, which will be announced closer to the event.
Kerry's Krazy Faces
No day out is complete without a splash of sparkle! Kerry’s Krazy Faces will be back on The Moor on Wednesday, offering professional face painting for all ages, including a bespoke bling and glitter bar for that extra festival finishing touch.
Falmouth Art Gallery
Falmouth Art Gallery will be out on The Moor running free, drop-in creative workshops inspired by their current exhibition, Mirrors: Reflecting on Identity, which brings together major loans and works by internationally significant artists exploring the question of who we are. The exhibition spans paintings, photographs and mixed-media works from the last century through to the present day, all exploring identity and how each of us works out who we are and how we want to be seen.
No booking required, just drop in any time between 10am and 3pm and get creative in response to the exhibition themes.
There will be a short break during the workshops where Kate from Falmouth Library will share fairytales and stories linked with the exhibition. Stories begin at 1pm every day, so bring your lunch and enjoy a tale or two. Stories for all ages and all welcome.
And remember, Falmouth Art Gallery offers free admission, so if the workshop sparks your curiosity, pop inside afterwards to see Mirrors for yourself.
Lino Printing Workshop with Maya
Join Maya for a drop-in lino printing workshop on The Moor, where you can choose from a range of pre-carved blocks, think flowers, foliage, stars, and other fun designs, and print your very own A6 masterpiece to keep. Full guidance will be given throughout, so no experience necessary, this is a lovely, relaxed activity suitable for all artistic abilities ages 7 and up.
Food Traders on The Moor
Hungry? The Moor will be packed with brilliant local food traders throughout the day, so you’re never far from a bite to eat.
Seal Beach House – A charming horsebox serving up açai bowls, barista coffee, fresh smoothies, and indulgent milkshakes on the go.
Crab Shack – A coastal-inspired food trailer specialising in flavour-packed crab and freshly prepared seafood.
Museums Corner
Wednesday brings Penlee House Gallery & Museum to Museums Corner, set within a beautiful sub-tropical park in Penzance. Penlee House is the only public gallery in Cornwall dedicated to the art of West Cornwall, celebrated for its collection of paintings by the Newlyn School and Lamorna artists, alongside a museum covering over 6,000 years of local history, from remarkable archaeological finds to social history and fashion.

Observation Wheel
See Falmouth from a whole new perspective with the Falmouth Observation Wheel, in Events Square throughout August. Offering breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views, this is your chance to soak in the beauty of the harbour, coastline, and town from high above.
As you gently rise into the sky, enjoy a unique vantage point over one of Cornwall’s most picturesque locations – perfect for capturing unforgettable photos or simply taking a moment to appreciate the scenery.

Visit the Discovery Market on Events Square throughout Falmouth Week and browse a lively line-up of makers, traders and local independents, all selling from charming wooden cabins in the heart of the festival.
The market is the perfect place to soak up the atmosphere, meet local sellers and pick up something special. From handcrafted finds and unique gifts to market favourites and festival treats, there will be plenty to explore throughout the week.
