Featuring performances from a selection of the worlds best extreme sports athletes. Action Sports Tour are back for 2021 down on The Waterfront, Church Street Car Park!
They mix the incredible skill, balance, power and aerial styles of Trials Riding BMX, Mountain Bike Dirt Jumping, Free Running, Scooter Riding, Flatland BMX and Roller Blading.

Taking place on Wednesday the 11th August 2021 at 6.15pm, the red arrows are returning to delight spectators with a world-class display of breath-taking stunts and synchronised manoeuvres across the skies of Falmouth.
The red arrows display is a spectacle to behold and offer the perfect event for all to come along and enjoy. The fantastic air show takes place on the seafront every year, so you can head down to the beach and enjoy the perfect location to view their display.
Vantage points to witness the performance include Pendennis Point, Cliff Road, Castle Beach, Gyllyngvase Beach and Swanpool Beach.
COVID Update: Safety plans are progressing in the lead up to the event this year. The August event follows after the 19th July easing of restrictions as laid out by the Prime Minister but the organisers are working closely with Public Health and Cornwall Council teams, to provide reassurance and support to the public. More details on these will follow in the coming weeks.

RNLI FUN DAY
Head down to Custom House Quay where to discover a family fun day featuring some of Falmouth’s best loved local charities like RNLI, the Seal Sanctuary, Cornwall Wildlife Trust and more including some SoapBox Science. The fun continues in the evening with a performance of traditional Cornish sea shanties in aid of Falmouth lifeboat.

Instead of Science in the Square, this year we’re doing Street Science!
Speakers from the University of Exeter will be giving talks throughout the day, about topics including smart solar powered windows, climate change, plastic pollution, animal behaviour and more. Talks will take place on the hour from 10am-4pm on Wednesday 11 August on Arwenack Street, Falmouth.
There will also be a rock pooling session at Castle Beach at 2:30pm on Wednesday 11 August. Booking via Eventbrite is essential. Click here to reserve your place.
