Step into the shadowy world of Cornwall’s smuggling underworld in this gripping, interactive murder mystery set against the docks of Falmouth. A crew of rival smugglers, secret informants, and shady sea dogs gathers at what promises to be one final and highly profitable job. But treachery is in the air, and by sunrise, a deal is underway… but someone won’t live to see the tide turn.

Head down to Events Square to unravel the mystery… performances will begin at 10am, 11.30am, 1pm and 2.30pm.

The Moor in Falmouth has been a market space for hundreds of years and that tradition is still very much alive today. Falmouth Art Gallery

Get ready for Falmouth Week’s colourful Carnival Parade by joining this fun, family-friendly workshop at Falmouth Art Gallery. Inspired by the gallery’s current exhibition, featuring the fantastical Captain Lobster, you’ll create your own space & lobster-themed hats and streamer wands to wear in the parade.

All materials provided – just bring your imagination! Make sure you join Falmouth Art Gallery as they carry their giant lobster through town as part of the Carnival Parade!

Led by artist Dulcie from 2pm-4pm on The Moor.

Bubbly and Brush

Enjoy a leisurely painting session, where you’ll be guided step by step in creating your masterpiece while sipping on bubbly on The Moor. After the art session, you can proudly take your canvas home to display on your wall!

Discovery Market

Set in the buzzing Events Square by the National Maritime Museum, Discovery Market Falmouth is all about creativity, community, and good vibes! Browse artisan stalls, grab tasty treats, and soak up the lively waterfront atmosphere. Whether you’re after unique finds or just a fun day out, there’s always something to enjoy!

Face Painters

Adding a splash of colour and sparkle to the event, Kerry’s Krazy Faces will be located on The Moor and Nat’s Tatts Airbrush Tattoos can be found on Events Square on various days throughout Falmouth Week.

Offering safe, professional, and imaginative transformations Kerry’s Crazy Faces use gentle, skin-safe paints so that every face can become a canvas for creativity and fun.

Nat’s Tatts brings the cool factor with vibrant airbrush tattoos, a fantastic choice for those wanting a temporary design that looks impressively real. With a wide range of patterns and colours to choose from, there’s something for every personality.

S&D Simulator

Ever dreamed of riding in a fighter jet, racing a supercar, or braving a rollercoaster drop? Now you can, right in the heart of Falmouth Week with the Eurofighter/Typhoon simulator located on Events Square!

S&D Simulators offer an adrenaline-fuelled experience for all ages, using cutting-edge technology inspired by real multi-million-pound flight simulators used by astronauts and jet fighter crews.

Safe, exciting and seriously fun, it’s the ride of a lifetime without ever leaving the ground!

Falmouth Carnival

Organised by Falmouth Marine Band Cornwall in partnership with Falmouth Town Council, the Carnival is always a highlight of Falmouth Week.

This year, we’re bringing the spectacle of decorated floats back to Falmouth Carnival! Whether you’re a local business, a community group, a school, or just a group of friends with a creative spark, now’s your chance to design and showcase your own eye-catching float. The heart of Falmouth Carnival has always been its fantastic marching parade, and we want YOU to be part of it! Get creative with your costumes, banners, and routines as you bring the theme ‘Fill Your Boots’ to life. Whether you interpret this literally with oversized boots or take it as a call to celebrate local pride, we can’t wait to see what you come up with – all you will need to do is register HERE.

As part of the Falmouth Carnival celebrations, we invite all shops and traders in the town to decorate their windows and take part in the annual Window Dressing Competition – let’s transform Falmouth into a colourful spectacle for everyone to enjoy! A map of participants will be created so visitors can admire the displays throughout the town!

Carnival Night is back on Saturday 9th August at the Waterfront Marquee, and it’s completely FREE to attend!

Warming things up is local legends Shameless, kicking off the party with their high-energy set of pop and rock covers
