Falmouth Art Gallery Workshop
Join Falmouth Art Gallery for a wonderfully imaginative workshop on The Moor inspired by the playful sculptures of Carlos Zapata.
Children will be encouraged to let their creativity run wild as they design and collage their very own tickling machines!
This hands-on session is all about fun, invention and a touch of silliness, sparking young imaginations while exploring the joyful world of contemporary sculpture.
Ideal for children of all ages – just bring your curiosity and prepare to giggle!

Museum Corner
Throughout Falmouth Week, a different local museum will be taking over our Museum Corner gazebo on The Moor each day from 10am to 3pm. Come along to meet staff from museums across Cornwall, explore fascinating objects, and get involved with creative, hands-on activities for all ages. A great way to discover the amazing culture and heritage on your doorstep!
On Monday 11th August, we’re excited to welcome Bodmin Keep, historic home of the Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry. Based in a historic Victorian army barracks, the museum is full of real-life stories and artefacts from Cornwall’s military past. Expect hands-on history, fascinating objects, and a chance to explore the lives of soldiers through time.
S&D Simulator
Ever dreamed of riding in a fighter jet, racing a supercar, or braving a rollercoaster drop? Now you can, right in the heart of Falmouth Week with the Eurofighter/Typhoon simulator located on Events Square!
S&D Simulators offer an adrenaline-fuelled experience for all ages, using cutting-edge technology inspired by real multi-million-pound flight simulators used by astronauts and jet fighter crews.
Safe, exciting and seriously fun, it’s the ride of a lifetime without ever leaving the ground!
Market on The Moor
The Moor in Falmouth has been a market space for hundreds of years and that tradition is still very much alive today. Discover a selection of eclectic market traders situated alongside a variety of delicious street food. Come along and enjoy homemade food, cakes, gifts and clothing. Make sure you take a ride on the hand-turned carousel while you’re there. Perfect for little ones!

Scouting for Girls
We are thrilled to welcome new faces to Falmouth Week 2025! On Monday 11th August, Scouting For Girls will take the stage at the The Waterfront Marquee (Church Street Car Park) for an unforgettable night of feel-good anthems.
Known for their chart-topping hits like She’s So Lovely, Elvis Ain’t Dead, and Heartbeat, Scouting For Girls bring infectious energy and singalong classics that will have the whole crowd on their feet.
